Austin
DOB: 03/05/05
ARI# 1158045
Aussie, a wonderful
cria who won everyone’s heart, has come into his own and has
turned out to be one of the best alpacas produced at Square Top
Ranch. Aussie is a 3⁄4 Peruvian, Medium Fawn male. Great conformation
with soft crimpy fiber, good bundling, coverage from head to toe
and a winning personality make him the perfect package.
He took a Blue Ribbon
in his first show at just six months of age. Besides other 1st and
2nd places, Austin took the Blue Ribbon at the 2007 International
Alpaca Odyssey. Austin began his breeding career last fall and we
anxiously await his first cria. Upon receiving his blue ribbon at
the 2007 IAO, Julio Sumar stated, "This animal is the complete
package. What an alpaca should be."
Aussie's first cria is
on the ground and she is gorgeous.

| Michelangelo’s
Geeves
DOB: July
5, 2002 ARI#: 837407 At the 2008 Snowmass
Making of Champions Sale, we first learned of Geeves when we saw
his offspring Geeve's Louise. Snowmass chose him to breed to one
of their finest Royal Black dams, Snowmass Incan Empress. The results:
a beautiful jet black cria. "Geeves is a stunning Black stud
with the fineness, brightness and uniformity we were looking for.
His sire we know quite well and he is one of the finer black males
in the US." (2008 Making of Champions brochure). Besides the wonderful
genetics provided by his sire, his dam, Starwood Gina, is a top
quality Accoyo Camillo daughter. She is an AOBA Blue Ribbon halter
show winner with great confirmation and dense, crimpy fleece. Geeves' head type looks
just like his sire, Michelangelo, and his fleece has density, finesse
and brightness; add to that a great temperament. An unbelievably
strong breeder, he has produced many offspring and his cria are
usually much darker than the dams. He has thrown silver grey and
black with fawn females.
If
you are looking for an outstanding black male to breed to your
special females, Geeves
is your man. We think Geeves will be kept quite busy; his quality
speaks for itself. |
